Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 4 seed, won against Jordanian qualifier Abdullah Shelbayh 6-4, 7-6 (4) to move into the last eight of the Banja Luka Open at the Tennis Klub Mladost on Thursday.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 33, will play the winner of the match between qualifier Radu Albot and Czech Jiri Lehecka, the No 6 seed, next.
Shelbayh, ranked No 267, beat Swede qualifier Elias Ymer (6-1, 7-5) in the previous round of the Banja Luka tournament.
