BMW Open: van de Zandschulp reaches quarter-finals
Botic van de Zandschulp defeated Aslan Karatsev 6-2, 6-0 on Thursday afternoon and will play American Marcos Giron in the next round
Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp, the No 4 seed, beat Russian qualifier Aslan Karatsev 6-2, 6-0 to move into the last 8 of the BMW Open at the MTTC Iphitos complex in Munich on Thursday.
Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 29, will face American Marcos Giron next.
In the previous round of the Munich Open, Karatsev, ranked No 129, won against German wildcard Daniel Altmaier (4-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2).
