Russian wildcard Mirra Andreeva defeated Canadian Leylah Fernandez 6-3, 6-4 to move into the 64 of the Madrid Open at the Caja Magica on Wednesday.
Andreeva, ranked No 194, will face No 13 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia next.
