Madrid Masters: Russian qualifier Shevchenko crushes Lehecka in 45 minutes

Russian qualifier Alexander Shevchenko advanced to the third round of the Madrid Masters by winning against Czech Jiri Lehecka, the No 31 seed, 6-1, 6-1 at the Caja Magica on Saturday.
Shevchenko, ranked No 96, will face the winner of the match between Italian qualifier Andrea Vavassori and Russian Daniil Medvedev, the second seed, next.
In the previous round of the Madrid tournament, the 22-year-old Russian beat American J.J. Wolf (6-4, 6-4).
