Mallorca Open: Kotov knocks out qualifier Li Tu to make second round
Pavel Kotov beat Li Tu 7-6 (4), 6-3 on Monday and will face second seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the next round

Russian lucky loser Pavel Kotov reached the second round of the Mallorca Open by winning against Australian qualifier Li Tu 7-6 (4), 6-3 at Mallorca Country Club on Monday.
Kotov, ranked No 116, will face second seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina next.
