Palermo Open: Colombia’s Camila Osorio moves into quarter-finals with three-set win

Colombian Camila Osorio defeated Russian Erika Andreeva 6-7 (3), 6-0, 6-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Palermo Open at A.S.D. Country Time Club on Thursday evening.
Osorio, ranked No 74, will face Egyptian Mayar Sherif, the No 3 seed, next.
The 21-year-old Colombian won against French wildcard Fiona Ferro (7-6 (2), 6-1) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Palermo tournament, Andreeva, ranked No 159, won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 6 seed (4-6, 6-0, 6-2).
