Japan Open: Hartono books spot in last eight, to play Hontama next
The Dutch qualifier won against Panna Udvardy 6-2, 6-0 in second round in Osaka on Thursday

Dutch qualifier Arianne Hartono beat Hungarian Panna Udvardy 6-2, 6-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships on Thursday.
Hartono, ranked No 191, will play Japanese wildcard Mai Hontama next.
In the previous round, the Dutchwoman won against Japanese wildcard Misaki Doi (6-2, 3-6, 6-3).
Udvardy, ranked No 126, edged out German Tatjana Maria, the second seed (2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5)) during the 32.
