Astana Open: Mannarino beats Kachmazov to reach last eight
Adrian Mannarino defeated Alibek Kachmazov 6-2, 5-7, 6-3. He’ll face the winner of the match between Rodionov and Sebastian Baez in the next round

Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No 6 seed, won against Russian qualifier Alibek Kachmazov 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of the Astana Open at the Daulet National Tennis Center.
Mannarino, ranked No 34, will face the winner of the match between Austrian qualifier Jurij Rodionov and Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the second seed, next.
The 35-year-old Frenchman beat Arthur Rinderknech (7-6 (4), 6-2) in the previous round of the Nur-Sultan tournament.
In the first round of the Nur-Sultan tournament, Kachmazov, ranked No 315, won against Frenchman Corentin Moutet (6-3, 7-6 (5)).
