Tsitsipas sets up Medvedev semi-final in Vienna

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 4 seed, reached the last four of the Vienna Open by defeating Croat wildcard Borna Gojo 7-6 (4), 7-5 at the Wiener Stadthalle on Friday.
Tsitsipas, ranked No 7, will face top seed Daniil Medvedev next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Greek won against Austrian wildcard Dominic Thiem (7-6 (5), 6-4) and edged out qualifier Tomas Machac (6-3, 4-6, 7-5).
Gojo, ranked No 77, won against Russian Aslan Karatsev (6-3, 6-3) and American Tommy Paul, the No 6 seed (6-3, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Vienna tournament.
