Austrian Sebastian Ofner, the No 7 seed, won against Ukrainian qualifier Vitaliy Sachko 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Sofia Open on Tuesday afternoon.
Ofner, ranked No 44, will face Australian Christopher O’Connell next.
