Mexican Renata Zarazua reached the quarter-finals of the Florianopolis Open by defeating Greek Despina Papamichail 6-4, 6-2 on Wednesday evening.
Zarazua, ranked No 151, will face the winner of the match between Sara Bejlek and Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean next.
