Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No. 5 seed, reached the last 8 of the Open BLS de Limoges by defeating French wildcard Audrey Albie in straight sets (6-3, 6-4) on Thursday.
Bucsa, ranked No. 82, will face the winner of the match between French wildcard Loïs Boisson and American lucky loser Alana Smith next.
In the previous round, the Spaniard won against French lucky loser Nahia Berecoechea (6-3, 6-1).
Albie, ranked No 321, beat qualifier Aravane Rezai (6-1, 6-0) in the previous round.
