ATP Auckland: Purcell books spot in second round against Daniel
The Australian defeated Kiranpal Pannu 6-4, 6-4 in the first round on Tuesday

Australian Max Purcell, the No 8 seed, won against New Zealander wildcard Kiranpal Pannu 6-4, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Auckland Open at the ASB Tennis Arena on Tuesday.
Purcell, ranked No 45, will face Japanese Taro Daniel next.
