Adelaide Open: Bublik advances to semi-finals, saves match point v Musetti

Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 8 seed, edged out Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 4 seed, 6-3, 6-7 (4), 7-5 to reach the last four of the Adelaide Open at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Thursday night.
Bublik, ranked No 31, will face the winner of the match between American Tommy Paul, the top seed, and Jack Draper next.
The Kazakh won against Australian lucky loser James McCabe (6-2, 6-3) and Daniel Evans (4-6, 6-2, 6-1) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Adelaide tournament, Musetti, ranked No 25, defeated Australian Jordan Thompson (6-4, 6-1).
