Marcos Giron advanced to the second round of the Dallas Open by defeating Nicolas Moreno De Alboran 6-1, 6-4 at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Tuesday evening.
Giron, ranked No 67, will play Australian Max Purcell, the No 6 seed, next.
