Cordoba Open: Qualifier Darderi upsets Ofner to make last eight
Luciano Darderi beat Sebastian Ofner 6-0, 6-3 and will face the winner of the match between Yannick Hanfmann and Andres Burruchaga in the next round

Italian qualifier Luciano Darderi advanced to the quarter-finals of the Cordoba Open by winning against Austrian Sebastian Ofner, the No 4 seed, 6-0, 6-3 at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes.
Darderi, ranked No 136, will play the winner of the match between German Yannick Hanfmann, the No 7 seed, and Argentinian qualifier Roman Andres Burruchaga next.
The 21-year-old Italian beat Chilean Tomas Barrios Vera (4-6, 6-1, 6-2) in the previous round of the Cordoba tournament.
