Chinese qualifier Xiaodi You moved into the second round of the San Luis Potosi Open by defeating Frenchwoman Alize Cornet, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 4-2 at the Club Deportivo Potosino on Tuesday night.
You, ranked No 224, will face Brazilian Laura Pigossi next.
