Madrid Masters: Mensik through to second round, faces ninth seed Dimitrov next
Jakub Mensik won against Yannick Hanfmann 6-4, 7-6 (3) on Thursday afternoon and will play No 9 seed Grigor Dimitrov in the next round

Jakub Mensik moved into the second round of the Madrid Masters by winning against German Yannick Hanfmann 6-4, 7-6 (3) at the Caja Magica on Thursday afternoon.
Mensik, ranked No 74, will face No 9 seed Grigor Dimitrov next.
