Fiona Ferro benefited from the abandonment of Lois Boisson (3-6, 6-4, 0-1) on Monday and will play Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, in the next round

Fiona Ferro moved into the last 16 of the Trophée Clarins when wildcard Lois Boisson retired on Monday afternoon.
Ferro, ranked No 149, led 3-6, 6-4, 0-1 when Boisson, ranked No 152, pulled out due to injury.
Fiona Ferro will face Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, next.
