Second seed Katie Boulter won against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-2, 6-4 to reach the last eight of the Trophée Clarins on Thursday.
Boulter, ranked No 28, will face Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva next.
The Brit defeated beat countrywoman Harriet Dart (6-0, 6-4) in the previous round.
During the round of 32, Tomova, ranked No 79, defeated French wildcard Chloe Paquet (3-6, 6-3, 6-1).
