Slovenian Tamara Zidansek, the No 9 seed, reached the last 16 of the Open delle Puglie by winning against Italian wildcard Daria Raimondo 6-0, 6-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
Zidansek, ranked No 131, will play Ipek Oz next.
