Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the top seed, advanced to the last 16 of the BBVA Open Internacional De Valencia by defeating Croat Lea Boskovic 6-0, 4-6, 6-2.
Tomova, ranked No 69, will face Russian Oksana Selekhmeteva next.
