Belgian Greet Minnen advanced to the last 8 of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open by edging out Croat Donna Vekic, the No 7 seed, 6-1, 0-6, 7-5 at Autotron Rosmalen.
Minnen, ranked No 85, will face the winner of the match between Swiss wildcard Celine Naef and Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the second seed, next.
The Belgian defeated Spaniard Rebeka Masarova (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round of the Rosmalen tournament.
During the 32 of the Rosmalen tournament, Vekic, ranked No 39, won against German Tamara Korpatsch (6-1, 6-3).
