Eastbourne Open: Purcell beats Kecmanovic to reach last four

Australian qualifier Max Purcell moved into the last four of the Eastbourne Open by beating Serb Miomir Kecmanovic 6-3, 7-6 (4) at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club.
Purcell, ranked No 94, will face wildcard Billy Harris next.
The Australian beat Serb Laslo Djere (6-1, 4-6, 6-3) and Italian Lorenzo Sonego (6-4, 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Eastbourne tournament, Kecmanovic, ranked No 53, defeated Chinese Zhizhen Zhang (6-2, 7-6 (2)) and Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 4 seed (6-3, 6-2).
