Slovenian Dalila Jakupovic advanced to the last 16 of the Grand Est Open 88 by winning against Croat Lucija Ciric Bagaric, the No 9 seed, 6-1, 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon.
Jakupovic, ranked No 212, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Leyre Romero Gormaz and French wildcard Audrey Albie next.
