Nordea Open: Trevisan upsets top seed Parry to set up semi-final against Chirico
Martina Trevisan beat Diane Parry 6-2, 7-6 (5) on Thursday and will play American Louisa Chirico in the next round

Italian Martina Trevisan, the No 7 seed, won against Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the top seed, 6-2, 7-6 (5) to move into the last four of the Nordea Open on Thursday.
Trevisan, ranked No 89, will play American Louisa Chirico next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Italian beat Australian Astra Sharma (5-7, 7-5, 6-3) and Romanian Miriam Bulgaru (6-4, 6-4).
Parry, ranked No 53, edged out Swede wildcard Caijsa Hennemann (1-6, 7-6 (6), 6-4) and defeated Latvian Darja Semenistaja (6-4, 6-1) in the previous rounds.
