Polish Open: Shinikova makes quarter-finals
Isabella Shinikova won against Destanee Aiava 6-1, 6-4 on Wednesday. She’ll face the winner of the match between Linda Klimovicova and American qualifier Alycia Parks in the next round

Bulgarian Isabella Shinikova moved into the quarter-finals of the Polish Open by winning against Australian qualifier Destanee Aiava 6-1, 6-4 on Wednesday.
Shinikova, ranked No 304, will face the winner of the match between Linda Klimovicova and American qualifier Alycia Parks next.
The Bulgarian defeated Filipino Alexandra Eala, the No 4 seed (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Aiava, ranked No 189, beat Serb Natalija Stevanovic (6-3, 6-2).
