US Open: Lehecka comes back from two sets to love down to reach third round

No 32 seed Jiri Lehecka advanced to the third round of the US Open by eventually beating American qualifier Mitchell Krueger 6-7 (5), 0-6, 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on Wednesday.
Lehecka, ranked No 38, will play the winner of the match between Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 6 seed, and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech next.
Jiri Lehecka benefited from the abandonment of Hungarian Marton Fucsovics (1-6, 6-4, 6-3, 3-0) in the previous round of the US Open.
In the previous round of the US Open, Krueger, ranked No 179, edged out French qualifier Hugo Grenier (4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5).
