Jasmin Open: Bronzetti breezes past Ruzic to book spot in semi-finals

Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 7 seed, defeated Croat qualifier Antonia Ruzic 6-2, 6-1 to reach the semi-finals of the Jasmin Open at the Skanes Family Hotel Monastir.
Bronzetti, ranked No 86, will face Slovak Rebecca Sramkova next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Italian won against Hungarian Dalma Galfi (6-2, 6-1) and American Ann Li (6-4, 7-6 (3)).
Ruzic, ranked No 173, edged out Argentinian Nadia Podoroska, the No 4 seed (1-6, 6-2, 6-4) and beat Yuriko Lily Miyazaki (6-3, 6-1) in the previous rounds of the Monastir tournament.
