Guadalajara Open: Garcia given walkover into semi-finals as Bouzkova withdraws injured

Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 4 seed, moved into the last four of the Guadalajara Open after No 6 seed Marie Bouzkova withdrew before the match at the Panamerican Tennis Center.
Garcia, ranked No 30, will play the winner of the match between Canadian wildcard Marina Stakusic and Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 5 seed, next.
The Frenchwoman defeated Japanese qualifier Ena Shibahara (7-6 (3), 7-6 (5)) in the previous round of the Guadalajara tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Guadalajara tournament, Bouzkova, ranked No 45, won against Filipino qualifier Alexandra Eala (6-2, 6-2) and Italian qualifier Lucrezia Stefanini (6-2, 6-1).
