Argentinian Nadia Podoroska moved into the last 16 of the Thailand Open 2 by winning against Russian qualifier Ksenia Laskutova 6-1, 6-0 on Tuesday.
Podoroska, ranked No 74, will play second seed Katerina Siniakova next.
Sinikova, seed No 2, bettered Australia’s Arina Rodionova 7-5, 6-1 in her Thailand opener.
