The Russian will face countrywoman Anastasia Tikhonova in the next round

Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 5 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Abierto Tampico by winning against Slovak Veronika Erjavec 6-3, 6-0 on Tuesday.
Blinkova, ranked No 85, will play Russian Anastasia Tikhonova next.
