Bolivia Open: Top seed Sherif retires against Arango
Emiliana Arango benefited from the abandonment of Mayar Sherif (2-1) on Tuesday evening. She’ll play the winner of the match between qualifier Natalia Trigosso and Chilean wildcard Antonia Vergara Rivera in the next round

Colombian Emiliana Arango reached the last 16 of the Bolivia Open when Egyptian Mayar Sherif, the top seed, retired on Tuesday evening.
Arango, ranked No 234, led 2-1 when Sherif, ranked No 96, pulled out on Tuesday evening.
The Colombian will face the winner of the match between qualifier Natalia Trigosso and Chilean wildcard Antonia Vergara Rivera next.
