Noah appointed head of para tennis in France
The Frenchman has led the national men’s wheelchair tennis at the Paris Paralympics Games this year

French tennis legend Yannick Noah, who won the 1983 Roland-Garros men’s singles title, was appointed as the head of France’s para tennis earlier this week.
Noah will be responsible for coordinating wheelchair, visually impaired, deaf and hard-of-hearing tennis activities, the French Tennis Federation said in a statement.
Noah had led the French men’s wheelchair team at the Paris Paralympic Games earlier this year.
“His main role will be to continue structuring the para tennis department by steering the training and ‘high level’ strategy and supporting the development of all para tennis activities across the country,” the federation said.
Noah has also captained the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup teams to championships pos this retirement.
