Hong Kong Open: Shang advances to semi-finals
Shang will face the winner of the match between Japanese wildcard Kei Nishikori and Cameron Norrie in the next round

China’s Juncheng Shang edged out Hungarian Fabian Marozsan 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the semi-finals of the Hong Kong Open at the Victoria Park Tennis Centre on Friday.
Shang, ranked No 50, will face the winner of the match between Japanese wildcard Kei Nishikori and Cameron Norrie next.
The 19-year-old Chinese beat wildcard Coleman Wong (7-6 (3), 6-4) and Spaniard Pedro Martinez, the No 7 seed (6-3, 6-1) earlier in the week.
In the previous round of the Hong Kong tournament, Marozsan, ranked No 58, won against Roman Safiullin (6-1, 7-6 (9)) and Andrey Rublev, the top seed (7-5, 3-6, 6-3).
