Upper Austria Ladies: Potapova too strong for Sramkova, moves into quarter-finals

Russian Anastasia Potapova, the No 6 seed, defeated Slovak Rebecca Sramkova 7-6 (1), 6-4 to reach the last 8 of the Upper Austria Ladies at the TipsArena in Linz.
Potapova, ranked No 33, will play the winner of the match between top seed Karolina Muchova and Spanish qualifier Sara Sorribes Tormo next.
The Russian won against Austrian wildcard Julia Grabher (6-2, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Linz tournament, Sramkova, ranked No 44, won against Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto (7-5, 7-5).
