No 5 seed Marcos Giron moved into the last eight of the Delray Beach Open by defeating lucky loser Ethan Quinn 6-3, 6-4 at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Giron, ranked No 49, will face Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Delray Beach tournament, Quinn, ranked No 150, edged out qualifier Tristan Boyer (6-2, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (2)).
