Dubai Open: Badosa beats Sun to book spot in second round
Paula Badosa won against Lulu Sun 6-3, 6-4 on Sunday and will play the either Elise Mertens or Canadian Leylah Fernandez in the next round

Spaniard Paula Badosa, the No 9 seed, won against New Zealander Lulu Sun 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Dubai Open at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre.
Badosa, ranked No 10, will face the winner of the match between Belgian Elise Mertens and Canadian Leylah Fernandez next.
