Qatar Open: De Minaur makes quarter-finals
The Aussie defeated Botic van de Zandschulp on Wednesday and will play the winner of the match between Andrey Rublev and Nuno Borges next

Australian Alex de Minaur, the second seed, won against Dutch qualifier Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4, 6-4 to move into the quarter-finals of the Qatar Open at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Wednesday.
Though it was a straight-set affair for De Minaur, he had to fight for more than two hours and save four break points for the win.
De Minaur, ranked No 8, will play the winner of the match between Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 5 seed, and Portuguese Nuno Borges next.
The Australian beat Russian Roman Safiullin (6-1, 7-5) in the previous round of the Doha tournament.
In the first round of the Doha tournament, Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 87, defeated Jordanian wildcard Abdullah Shelbayh (7-5, 6-3).
