Badosa retires against Saville in Mérida quarter-finals
Daria Saville was down a set and leading in the second when Paula Badosa retired from their quarter-final match in Merida on Friday. Saville will meet Emiliana Arango on Saturday.

Qualifier Daria Saville advanced to the last four of the Mérida Open Akron when Spaniard Paula Badosa, the second seed, retired on Friday night.
Saville, ranked No 121, trailed 1-6, 5-3 when Badosa, ranked No 11, called it quits due to a back injury.
The Australian will play Colombian qualifier Emiliana Arango in the semi-finals.
Saville advanced earlier in the tournament against Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 6 seed (6-4, 7-6 (6)) and Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina (4-6, 6-2, 6-2).
Badosa had previously defeated Romanian Jaqueline Cristian (6-2, 6-1).
