Japanese Ena Shibahara defeated American Hanna Chang 6-0, 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Puerto Vallarta Open on Monday evening.
Shibahara, ranked No 138, will play the winner of the match between Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the top seed, and Harriet Dart next.
