Wildcard Linda Fruhvirtova advanced to the last 16 of the Puerto Vallarta Open after American Hailey Baptiste, the No 8 seed, withdrew before the match on Monday.
Fruhvirtova, ranked No 215, will face the winner of the match between Daria Saville and Olivia Gadecki next.
