Puerto Vallarta Open: Inglis upsets seventh seed Andreeva to reach last eight
The Australian will face the winner of the match between American Bernarda Pera, the No 4 seed, and Swiss Rebeka Masarova in the next round

Australian wildcard Maddison Inglis moved into the quarter-finals of the Puerto Vallarta Open by winning against Russian Erika Andreeva, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 6-2 on Wednesday.
Inglis, ranked No 128, will play the winner of the match between American Bernarda Pera, the No 4 seed, and Swiss Rebeka Masarova next.
Ahead of her win today, the Australian beat Emily Appleton (6-1, 6-2).
Andreeva, ranked No 95, defeated Mexican qualifier Claudia Sofia Martinez Solis (6-1, 6-1) in the previous round.
