Puerto Vallarta Open: Masarova books spot in last eight
The Swisswoman will face Australian wildcard Maddison Inglis in the next round

Swiss Rebeka Masarova reached the quarter-finals of the Puerto Vallarta Open by edging out American Bernarda Pera, the No 4 seed, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 on Thursday.
Masarova, ranked No 168, will play Australian wildcard Maddison Inglis next.
In the previous round, the Swiss won against American Varvara Lepchenko (6-3, 6-4).
Pera, ranked No 84, defeated Mexican wildcard Fernanda Contreras Gomez (6-1, 6-4) earlier in the week.
