Marrakech Open: Griekspoor books spot in semi-finals

Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the top seed, reached the last four of the Marrakech Open by defeating Italian Mattia Bellucci, the No 8 seed, 6-3, 6-4 at Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Friday.
Griekspoor, ranked No 37, will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Alexandre Muller, the No 3 seed, and Pole qualifier Kamil Majchrzak next.
The Dutchman won against Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta (7-6 (1), 3-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the Marrakech tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Bellucci, ranked No 71, beat Russian Pavel Kotov (6-4, 6-4) and French qualifier Pierre-Hugues Herbert (6-2, 7-5).
