Dane Holger Rune, the No 6 seed, moved into the second round of the Barcelona Open by winning against Spanish wildcard Albert Ramos-Vinolas 7-5, 6-4 at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Monday evening.
Rune, ranked No 13, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Sebastian Baez and Bosnian lucky loser Damir Dzumhur next.
