Rouen Open: Ruse books spot in second round

Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse edged out French wildcard Elsa Jacquemot 1-6, 6-1, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Rouen Open at the Kindarena on Monday.

Ruse, ranked No 90, will play the winner of the match between Italian qualifier Camilla Rosatello and American Alycia Parks, the No 6 seed, next.
