Slovenian Tamara Zidansek won against German Mona Barthel 7-6 (5), 7-6 (2) to move into the last 16 of the Oeiras Ladies Open on Tuesday.
Zidansek, ranked No 163, will face American Katie Volynets, the second seed, next.
