Munich Open: Griekspoor knocks out Hanfmann to move into quarter-finals

Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor reached the quarter-finals of the Munich Open by winning against German wildcard Yannick Hanfmann 7-6 (3), 6-3 at the MTTC Iphitos complex.
Griekspoor, ranked No 37, will face top seed Alexander Zverev next.
The Dutchman defeated American qualifier Learner Tien (6-4, 6-2) in the previous round of the Munich tournament.
In the previous round of the Munich tournament, Hanfmann, ranked No 131, beat No 6 seed Jakub Mensik (7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-3).
