Munich Open: Marozsan advances to last 4 via straight-sets victory over Bergs

Hungarian Fabian Marozsan advanced to the semi-finals of the Munich Open by winning against Belgian Zizou Bergs 6-3, 7-6 (4) at the MTTC Iphitos complex on Friday evening.
Marozsan, ranked No 77, will play German Alexander Zverev, the top seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Hungarian defeated German wildcard Justin Engel (6-4, 6-1) and Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 4 seed (6-4, 6-4).
Bergs, ranked No 50, edged out Kazakh qualifier Alexander Bublik (6-7 (5), 6-4, 7-5) and won against German lucky loser Diego Dedura-Palomero (6-1, 6-1) in the previous rounds of the Munich tournament.
